I was 4 days late and had
tender/sore breasts. I knew I was pregnant but needed to take a test to make
sure and to have something to show my husband (Heath). We had to run to
Wal-Mart to get some milk for Braxton (go figure!) and I got a test. Heath, Dalton
(cousin), and Braxton decided to go swimming late that night, at like 10pm,
because it was so muggy out so it would feel good anyways. While they were
doing that, I decided I have enough time to go take a test and sure enough, it
came up positive. I think that was enough for me because 1.since it was later
at night, if it would have came up negative, I wouldn't have been surprised
because you're supposed to do it in the morning and 2.I just knew I was pregnant. I was still surprised,
though. I was shaking quite a bit. I went out to show Heath and I think we were
both pretty shocked. Not that we weren't trying but I guess we just figured it
was going to take longer..but it only took approximately 3 or 4 months. I'm
starting to get more and more excited thinking about it, though. I took another
test that morning since I had it and to just be extra positive. :)
We don't have everything
worked out but I have faith in the Lord that we will get everything figured out
and if we struggle, then we struggle. That's nothing new to us and in the long
run, it'll all work out. I know for this to work out, I have to have faith and believe that God has
a plan for us; and I know he does. Someday, we will have everything worked out,
I just need to pray and stay true to God. Someday, we'll have a house so that
the kids will have their own rooms and everything else. For that, I can't wait
but I will...because it's all part of the plan.
Am I excited? yes. Am I
scared? heck yes! It doesn't really seem all that real right now though. I go
to the doctor in about a week and a half so maybe then it'll seem more
real..but until then.. :)
Braxton knows there's a
baby in mommy's belly but I don't think he really understands what I mean at
all! It's so cute though. He's really such a smart little boy. He thinks
there's a baby in his tummy too! :) It's hilarious but oh, so cute!
