It's days like these

Lately, I've been 'complaining' about Braxton being in his "terrible two's" so I wanted to post something that made my heart just burst with love and joy. Heath was finally home for a day and after Braxton refused to go down for a nap, he told him he'd take him out on the four wheeler if he'd take one. So, he finally took one so Heath took him for a ride. He loved it! He had such a blast! =)

Afterwards, Rileigh was playing/practicing for softball so of course, Braxton wanted to play too so I got his t-ball set out. He had so much fun! It didn't last very long but the pictures I got were worth it! Here are a few..

These days make it a little easier for the coming days. And when I say a little..I definitely mean a little. Daddy-son days are the best, I think. <3

I'm going to go insane...

It's official..Braxton is in his "terrible two's" and I can honestly say that I'm done. I need a break. Why did I want to be a stay at home mom?? I have no idea. I'm starting to think I did it a little backwards..I should have stayed home when he was a baby and been working now!! ;) I guess it's kind-of a good thing because I can keep him on a decent schedule and discipline him the way I want him to be. BUT if there are any other mom's who are reading this: he's been throwing things and hitting (mostly me and himself but sometimes other people) whenever he gets mad. Is this normal? If it is, how should I stop this? If it isn't, should I be worried? Please, help!! :)

I want my sweet, little man back!! I miss him more than he knows right now. I do need a break but how? when? who would watch him? I feel bad for asking the grandparents all the time. This is when I really wish I lived closer to my family up north. But I did go for a walk with my friend, Annie, and I think we walked like almost 3 miles. I don't know if it was my shoes or what but my shins are killing me!! I'm sore..but it was good. We got to gossip and walk and just enjoy some time! It was only for 2(ish) hours but when I got back, Braxton ran to me with open arms and just embraced me! It was so sweet and it felt to good to have my little boy back again!! It's honestly what I miss the most these days. 

Today, we're hopefully going to go get a couch!! We're going to go look at it and probably get it picked up and everything! :) I cannot wait. We've been out of our house for a few weeks too long!! It looks in great shape and everything too. =) YAHOO!!!! Here goes nothing. Hoping that it all works out..we've had a few that we've tried for and someone else has beat us to it. -_- Irritating. But anyways..here we go!

If he could, Braxton would just go to work with Heath. He just loves emergency vehicles! He'd love to go on a call with him but he's just a little too small yet. ;) Maybe when he's older. I just wish EMS personnel made more..for what they do, they deserve it. But, I better not even start because I'd have a whole rant going. Have a great day, everyone!!

Zoo Day!! & Update!

So, I'm awful and totally forgot to come on here and tell about his zoo day! We went after Braxton had his nap and although it was hot that day..it was so fun!! He absolutely loved it and I can't wait to go again. :) 

I'm just going to share some pictures since I'm going to head to bed soon. 

I couldn't even tell you what animal was his favorite because he just loves them all. I think he gets a little freaked out when he sees how big the animals really are but all the same, he loves them! :) His "favorite", I guess, were the monkey's and the camels. Haha! Since we have the year pass, we'll be visiting a lot more. Already thinking we might go to the egg thing they're having tomorrow..so we'll see. :) 

This weekend, my amazing little sister surprised me with being able to bring her boyfriend to Chattanooga to finally meet him! She's been dating him for a couple weeks now but he got to meet Braxton and of course, Braxton was shy but he really warmed up to him quick! :) He loves him!!! I think Krisztian wants to just steal him..but not for too long. :P Here are some cute pictures of them together:

And finally..we had church tonight for Good Friday. Tis the season! =) Easter is near and I can't wait to spend it with my little family. Heath has been working again this weekend and busy with his Fire classes so we're in Chattanooga but we'll be heading back Saturday night so we can go to church as a family and everything. But here are some pictures from tonight..but I got a new "Easter" dress so I'm so excited to wear it on Sunday!!! 

Okay, so, there's my little update for the week. :/ I obviously have to get on here more often so I can do my "ranting and raving" ;) Have a great weekend, friends and HAPPY EASTER!!!!

If it's not one thing, it's another..

So, with Heath working a lot, it's to pretty much to try and get ahead. Well, my mother-in-law, who we live right next to..like literally 20 feet away, has 2 cats that are outdoor cats. Well, apparently, one got in as I was packing up the car or something last week and when I got home Sunday night- the house stunk so frickin bad!! The cat had peed and pooped on the couch and love seat. They are now ruined!! So, we've pretty much spent the last couple of days at his mom's house because we don't have anywhere else to really sit or do anything in our house. How awesome. So, now we're going to have to go get a new couch and everything. -_- ugh. this is life as I know it.  And I have to go get a black light and some other "urine be gone" chemical stuff to try and make sure I got all the pee out of the house. Cat urine is the worst smell EVER!!! It seriously makes me sick. 

I could not be more pissed off about all of that. I will forever hate that cat. I've never been a big cat person as it is so now this just doesn't help it's cause at all. I'll probably always be a dog person..especially now! Anyways, we found a new couch that we have to go pick up and I'm actually really excited about it! =) It's a beautiful, dark brown, pretty much brand new couch!! And I want to be able to get Heath a camo recliner that he's pretty much always wanted but with those being more than a dang couch- we can't afford it right now. 

In other news, since Heath is working the whole weekend, I came back to Chattanooga and hopefully we're going to be able to go to the zoo and stuff with Braxton! He loves animals so I think he'd love going!! I can't wait to go. So, stay tuned for some cute pictures of my little cutie!! ;)

Being an EMS wife..

Well, I have to officially say that my husband works way too much. He left last Monday morning and I won't see him until Tuesday. And then he has his Fire class Wednesday and back to work on Thursday. It gets lonely and irritating. I know he does it for us and for our family but sometimes I just want him to be home with us and for Braxton to be able to play and bug his dad like he's constantly doing with me. Braxton is a total momma's boy..and really, can you blame him? Yes, he adores his daddy and his little "mini me" and it kills me. It kills me to see him and see how much he adores his daddy and Heath has to go to work or do whatever. Although, I know he's doing it for us, I cannot wait for him to get a job with TVA so maybe he'll have more time for family!!

I got to enjoy some time with my grandparents this week while he was working his little ass off, though! So, I guess that's a plus! Braxton loved having "Gigi" and "Grandpa Grapes" here. ;) Didn't really do much with them here because Grandpa has a hard time with his hips and stuff but just enjoyed some family time with them. :)

My little sister was here, too, this weekend and we got to get some Easter pictures of Braxton done!! FINALLY!!! =) Even though I'll only have some "sneak peeks" to show..I'm so excited to see all of them! I think they turned out so stinkin cute! 

Okay, I took my melatonin so I have to try and get some sleep..I had quite a restless night last night. (go figure!) so good night and if I think of something else to blog about, I will..tomorrow. :)
