20 Weeks

"Peanut" is about 12 ozs (according to the doctor, since we had our ultrasound done the other day)! He measures about 6.5 inches long which is about the size of a banana. We're officially halfway through the pregnancy! Heath has been able to feel him moving/kicking the last couple of weeks; but Braxton isn't quite patient enough to sit there and try to feel it. Braxton will usually talk to his little brother and come up to my belly and say "Hi, baby brother" or "Good morning, baby brother". :) It's so sweet!

How far along: 20 weeks

Total weight gain: 6 lbs

Maternity clothes: of course! Nicole's jeans came yesterday and I put them on- so comfortable! And they actually stay up so I'm not constantly pulling up my jeans. I love them!

Stretch marks: not yet!

Sleep: insomnia, as usual.

Best moment this week: having our 20 week scan done (I love seeing our sweet babe on the screen!), getting some family pictures done, and trick-or-treating with Aunt Becki! 

Miss anything: sleeping normally, my energy! Although I do have more energy than the first trimester, I still feel like I'm dragging and get tired more easily.

Movement: Yes! Usually at night or if I eat something he likes, I guess. :) He just likes it when I eat, apparently..and hot apple cider! That's my boy. :)

Food cravings: I really wouldn't say I have "cravings" this pregnancy, just things that sound good. BUT my sweet tooth is finally back! I've missed it.

Started showing: oh, of course!

Belly in/out: still in. Probably because I've only gained 6 lbs so far.
Mood: pretty good, lately! Braxton has been a lot better lately..so that definitely helps! 

Looking forward to: Heath finally being home this weekend! :)

19 Weeks

"Peanut" is now about 6 inches long and weighs 8.5 ozs. He's about the size of a zucchini this week. Little booger just keeps getting bigger and stronger and I can't believe I'm already almost halfway through this pregnancy! I'm excited for Braxton to be able to feel his little brother move, eventually..when he really starts to grow!

My amazing little sister and her photography skills still amaze me to this day..and she's always doing these for me! I love her and am so glad she lives closer to me now! Hoping these will be our "weekly" pictures but we will see how it goes. :)

How far along: 19 weeks
Total weight gain: 4 lbs 
Maternity clothes: DUH! They're amazing.
Stretch marks: not yet. 
Sleep: Let's not even talk about it..Insomnia, my son doesn't sleep through the night *again*..it's just exhausting! But I guess I better get used to it..
Best moment this week: having such a fun weekend!!
Movement: of course.
Food cravings: I don't think I have "cravings"..but chicken always and has always sounded good this pregnancy. :)
Started showing: yeah!
Gender: BOY!!!

18 Weeks

Baby BOY :D is about 5 1/2 inches long and the size of a sweet potato. So, I was going to try and to have the length of the baby to be something to do with hunting/EMS but it's near impossible for me. So, instead, I'll just do whatever. :) Baby weighs about 6.7 oz this week (which is quite a bit less than me). Baby is growing fast and I can't wait for Heath and Braxton to be able to feel him kick. Heath has already felt him kick once..but not again. He's stubborn and will stop once anyone's hand gets on my belly..even my own. 

My husband took this picture for me at the grocery store..which is why it's a goofy one but I didn't realize that sweet potatoes were so long and big! 

How far along: 18 weeks
Total weight gain: 5 lbs :/
Maternity clothes: yes-best things ever! But I think my jeans are getting a little small for me so I'm anxious to get the ones my sister is sending me. :)
Stretch marks: not yet. 
Sleep: insomnia like crazy..I could sleep all.day.long. -_-
Best moment this week: DOING OUR GENDER REVEAL!!!
Movement: of course..just not as much as I'd like. :) 
Food cravings: not really "cravings" just things that 'sound good' at the time. :) 
Started showing: yes, but I still worry that strangers still think I'm fat. :/

Mood: I've had a rough week with Braxton..a hard one so my mood hasn't been great. But I'm trying! :)

It's A......!!!!

Ok, so I'm going to finally admit it on the internet, only because I know what gender my baby is now. :) I'm petrified of having a little girl but at the same time..what girl doesn't want a little girl? Now, I'm no girly girl, but I have resources *ahem..sisters* who could do girly if my daughter was. I'm hoping for a boy because 1. their due dates are so close- I have all the clothes already.. 2. I'm used to a boy. I know how to do things with a little boy. But with all that said, as long as my baby is healthy and happy- that's all I want. But we finally got to do our gender reveal and we're so excited and happy!!

As CONVINCED as I was that we were having a little girl, we are thrilled that we're having a little boy!! We are so excited but I have to say that poor Braxton seems kind-of bummed about it. :/ He keeps saying he's having a little baby sister, yet. I'm not sure if he really knows the difference, anyways..he'll love the baby when it gets here. He loves babies anyways..so I think he'll be great!  :) 

Now, to keep a little secret..we won't be telling the name until the birth. :) (Let's be honest..we haven't decided on one, yet, anyways!! Haha!) 

17 Weeks

Baby is a little over 5 inches long this week. Growing like a weed, for sure! According to my pregnancy app, Baby is about the size of a pomegranate this week. 

Let's see...Week 17 has been pretty much a week of anticipation..waiting to figure out when we're going to find out the gender of our sweet babe. We had a day/date all set up and ready to go AS LONG AS everything else went to plan. Lucky for us, (ok, mostly me) it did all go according to plan. :)It's been a rough week only because Heath has been working like crazy, lately. It's hard in so many different ways. 

How far along: 17 weeks
Total weight gain: 2 lbs.
Maternity clothes: yes..the most comfortable things EVER!
Stretch marks: nope, not yet. 
Sleep: SO.dang.tired, still. I was really thinking during this trimester, it'd get better- no such luck. :/
Best moment this week: knowing when we'll be doing our gender reveal. :)
Movement: yes, every once in a while.
Food cravings: still kinda Mexican but pasta is always good, too. :) 
Started showing: yeah!
Gender: no clue yet but still thinking it’s a girl!
Labor signs: nope. 
Belly button in/out:still an innie! 
Mood: frustrating- Braxton has been having some attitude and showing his "terrible two" self, again. It's been a rough time..

16 Weeks

Baby is about 4 1/2 inches long now..I couldn't find something that I could use for a picture, though. :/ Plus, we had a busy week/weekend so I am slacking on that part. But since Heath and I got to have an "anniversary getaway" this past weekend..I got one of my favorite belly shots, ever!! I think I'm finally comfortable enough to post a picture of it, too. I don't feel as fat, now..it's more pregnancy. :)

This is Baby Lisk at 16 weeks, 3 days. I don't think I always look this pregnant..maybe I just got lucky. ;)

How far along: 16 weeks
Total weight gain: during the time we were in Gatlinburg, I gained 3 lbs (:O) but it went back down when we got back. It was back down to 2 lbs gained, so far. :)
Maternity clothes: YES!!! I finally have clothes that fit! :) Well, kinda..
Stretch marks: not yet.
Sleep: terrible. I have insomnia at night and sleep in, quite a bit. -_-
Best moment this week: having mine and Heath's weekend together!
Movement: yes, I swear I can feel the somersaults, now. :)
Food cravings: I wouldn't say I "crave" it but I am always in the mood for mexican food. 
Started showing: yeah..thank goodness..I don't feel so fat now. 
Gender: no clue yet but still thinking it’s a girl!
Labor signs: nope. 
Belly button in/out:still an innie! 
Mood: pretty good, lately. :) I have my days but they are what they are.

DIY Success!!

Okay, I am totally in love with this DIY project I did! First off, I had some mishaps in the beginning but turned out amazing! My mom did help me with the ironing because 1. I don't iron and 2. I didn't trust myself to do it. :) 

Friends of Heath and I finally had their baby boy and he is seriously adorable! I got to just hold him and rock him- yeah, I am so excited to have a baby again. :) It'll be different with a 3 year old, I'm sure, but I'll still be excited to be in that stage again. 

Could these have not turned out any cuter? I love them! Now, I can't wait to see the little booger in these. <3 

15 Weeks

Baby is now about 4 inches long..about as long as a syringe. Baby has doubled in weight, again! He/she is growing..and fast! 

I love being able to feel baby move! I can't wait for Braxton and Heath to be able to feel it now, too. :) I got sick today at lunch (what a waste of a chicken sandwich..) but other than that and my sinus headaches, things have been OK. Trying to remember what a blessing it is! :) 

How far along: 15 weeks

Total weight gain: 2 lbs. 

Maternity clothes: not yet..been wearing yoga pants mostly, though because I can't zip up my jeans and be comfortable. :/  

Stretch marks: not yet.

Sleep: about the same..I still feel like I still sleep more than I used to, though.

Best moment this week: Getting to feel baby move every once in a while. :)

Miss anything: not having a headache every.single.day. -_- 

Movement: sporadically.  

Food cravings: nothing too specific..just good food. :) 

Started showing: Yes..I still think it's a lot of fat/bloating but I guess I look pregnant. 

Gender: I wish I knew! No clue, yet. Still thinking a girl.

Labor signs: heck no!! Thank goodness..

Belly button in/out: still an innie! 

Mood: fine as long as I don't have a headache.. 

I can't wait to be able to find out the gender of this baby! I've decided to go see an OB/GYN in Chattanooga that I used to work for and he's not going to charge me anything for it! What can I say? He's the BEST!!!! <3 I'm going to try and get in next week, so I cannot wait!!! :D
