I can't believe I'm halfway
through the first trimester, actually. It's been a rough week though..that's
for sure! I've had such nausea, I haven't been able to eat anything besides
saltines and drink anything besides Sprite. I haven't been able to do anything,
really, because I've felt so terrible and been so tired. I was so ready and
excited to go to the Doctor's office to be able to get some nausea medicine so
that I could hopefully start to feel better and ok a little more. Well, my
dream has kind-of come true..we went to the doctor and I did my math wrong, I'm
about a week further along than I was thinking. Which makes the due date
03/18/2015..which is only 10 days after Braxton's birthday. :/
I got some nausea medicine
and it seems to kind-of be working..a little..I at least can get up without
feeling like I'm going to puke every single time so that's good. I think I'll
actually be able to take my pills now too without too much trouble. Yay! I
still don't feel 100% but it's better than what I was feeling.
It's funny how different
this pregnancy is going to be from Braxton. The doctor said that I'll probably
experience things earlier and sooner than I did with Braxton. Which I guess is
why I've felt so nauseous lately..I'll probably feel movement sooner, Braxton
Hicks contractions sooner, breast tenderness sooner (omg, it's terrible!), and
possibly even labor. I've definitely noticed things before I did with Braxton
but it's also so different because I was keeping track of my periods and
everything, whereas with Braxton, I wasn't. He was our BIG SURPRISE! But
anyways, I haven't puked yet and have been able to keep food and fluids in me
so I guess that's always a good thing.
Now, we just can't wait to
start to be able to tell people!! Braxton already knows and will sometimes say
something but so far it's been quiet enough that no one else has heard it.
Haha! I think Heath is excited to start telling people too. Even though, it's
stressful..it's still really exciting for us, too! :)
Only 6ish more weeks to
go...
