Today's the Day!!!!

Today is (finally!!) the day that my older sister, Amanda, my nephew, Kaiden, and her friend, Kirsty are picking up Becki (my youngest sister) and are going to be in Tennessee for Braxton's birthday party!! I am beyond excited and so READY for them to just be here already!! Despite that..I still have this awful headache, I'm really starting to think it's a sinus headache that I keep on getting. :/ Crap! 

Let me just tell you about some of the worst luck that I have...I got to my parents' house (they had a funeral to attend and I said I'd let Amanda and them in when they got here) and decided to take a shower since I would be waiting anyways. So, of course, Braxton was under my feet, driving me crazy, as any 1-year-old does. I tossed my wedding band onto bathroom counter and it fell in between the "vanity" and wall. -_- The molding stuff at the bottom won't let me move it either SO now I'm going to have to tell my dad and have him move it and whatever to get it. :/ He's probably going to hate me BUT I'm SO upset that it happened. It's just my dang luck that it would have slipped perfectly down there. And my finger is now feeling extremely naked without it. :(

So, besides all that..I'm STILL stressing out over his party. Why? I couldn't actually tell you but I always do and probably always will. =/ I still cannot wait to post pictures- my mom and I are going to be dressed as pirates! & we're going to have a "photo booth"! I realllly hope and think that it will turn out really cute but all the stress better be worth it. That's all I have to say about it. ;) ALSO, I'm pretty sure Braxton has been going through his "Terrible Two's" lately and has been harder than usual. I must say though, that he really is quite a good boy. :) I think I'm a pretty lucky momma for that! 

ALSO--BRAXTON PEED ON THE POTTY YESTERDAY!!!! He's sat on the toilet before and not done anything (but tried) but he FINALLY peed on it!!! :D I was ecstatic! It's a SMALL step but maybe potty training is in the near future?? :) I told Amanda, so she brought him a potty that Kaiden never used (or didn't like) lol He actually LOVES it!

Okay, time to cuddle with my little monster but STAY TUNED!! I have some big news coming up!! :)

2nd Birthday Party

So, my baby is turning 2 on March 8th but since Heath has to work (he's a Paramedic), we're having his birthday party this Saturday. Let's just say that I'm kind-of freaking out!! It goes a little hand-in-hand with my anxiety. :/ Anyways, his theme this year is Jake and the Neverland Pirates from Disney Jr. Last year, it was "Guess Whoo's Turning One" with the owl theme which was adorable! 

How adorable is that?? But he's grown SO stinkin' much from last year..I have NO idea where my little baby has gone. He's my little toddler boy now. I cannot wait to post pictures of the party, though! I think it's going to turn out so cute! Anyways, stress is getting the best of me and I cannot get rid of this headache..which it probably doesn't help that I'm sick because of Braxton. Ha-ha! 

Ok, I must try and get some sleep. More tomorrow night? Maybe..we'll see :)

Excuse me..

Please excuse me while I try and figure this out. I've never blogged before so I have NO idea how to do this and make it all pretty and stuff. So, I guess I'll give you some background on myself..I was born in Zeeland, MI in January of 1991 and 6 months later, moved to WI and that's where I grew up. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. I graduated from HS in 2009 and moved to Chattanooga, TN in October of 2010 and shortly after, enrolled in college to become a Medical Assistant. I met Heath Lisk in April of 2011 and we became official in May of 2011 and were pretty inseparable. He was working as an EMT and going to school to become a Paramedic so it was hard to always get to see him. We ended up getting pregnant and had Braxton Owen March 8th, 2012. He is my pride and joy and made my life amazing! It was NEVER easy for Heath and I. We didn't date for a long time before we got pregnant so it was a learning transition for the both of us. It STILL is a learning transition for us and we're still trying to figure it out. It's a work in progress. Heath and I got married October 5th, 2013 and it was amazing!! I had a family before but now we all share the last name. :) 

My little sister, my MOH, my rock- she currently is going to school at the Art Institute in Nashville for Photography SO when she graduates this JUNE!!! we're going to try and start a little photography business. Which is mainly why I'm trying to figure all this out. :) 

Anyway, I guess that will be enough for day 1. I have NO bloody idea what the heck I'm going to write about because I'm boring and I don't do anything..so any suggestions? Let me know. :) Thanks!
